GREAT GUARDS

   I would like to commend and thank
   the First and Second Companies of
   the Governor's Foot Guard for their
   visit to Saint Joseph School on Fri-
   day, April fourth.  They arrived  at
   nine o'clock and wrapped up their
   visit near two fifteen.  During their
   stay they visited the classrooms of
   kindergarten through fourth grade 
   and invited the children's participa-
   tion.  Grades five through eight en-
   joyed a very informative history les-
   son. Afternoon recess was extended
   when the Fife and Drum Guards played
   and paraded around the school yard to
   the delight of all who watched and lis-
   tened. The students marched and clap-
   ped to the fife and drum beat and en-
   couraged the Guards to continue. Thank
   you for all the guards involved for this
   wonderful experience.
